Welcome to the Fantastic Girls Club. I am in the process of redesigning not only this site but also the Club itself. Here's what you can look foward to in the coming months:
PLAY DATES
If you have kids, this is not what you think. This is play dates for ADULTS! It's your opportunity to discover more about yourself through play and creativity. You will be amazed at what you can learn by letting yourself loose. So many of us confine ourselves to our logical mind, not allowing our creative mind to poke through.
Inspired by Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way, I will be coordinating regularly scheduled play dates (dates to be determined) where we will explore some of the following (one per meeting):
- playing with clay
- coloring with crayons
- doing vision boards (aka cutting out pics from magazines and posting on boards)
- watercolor painting
- construct greeting cards
- scrapbook pages
- autobiographies written with glitter gel pens (keep it light)
- finger painting
- self-portraits

BOOK GROUP
I will be starting up the book group again starting in January 2009. I have some great books lined up and cannot wait to get started. I'm also open to suggestions.
